• Are you qualified? Find out if you need to top up on any new skills or courses. The extra skills will do you good and may give you an advantage over someone else. I.e you could get some extra training in sage accounting.
• Write up some information on what virtual services you can offer and research prices in your local area or beyond.
• Be prepared to sign a non-disclosure agreement when you are due to be hired. This is pretty much the norm these days, that ensures your clients work is not shown or shared around other clients.
• Think about advertising and marketing your new venture. You will need business cards, marketing information, and a website.
